As the second biennial Festival of Architecture For Norwich and Norfolk drew to a close last week, Lucas Hickman Smith’s involvement culminated in Matt Wood’s presentation about his blog Ruralise as part of a Pecha Kucha night at Cinema City.
Pecha Kucha was devised by architects Klein Dytham in Tokyo in 2003, and draws its name from the Japanese for “chit chat”. Each presenter talks on a creative topic using twenty slides, each set to auto-forward after twenty seconds – to keep the presentations concise and fast-moving. Matt was one of six speakers presenting with the 20×20 format to an enthusiastic crowd. His presentation will be posted on his blog in the next day or so, here.
