After six weekends of study and project work Paul Lucas has completed the Permaculture Design Course run by the Permaculture Association. Permaculture was originally conceived in Australia in the 1970’s by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren and is derived from the concept of permanent agriculture. Since then it has developed, world wide, into a design process looking at sustainable solutions based on the three ethics: earth care, people care and fair shares and can be applied to everything from web design to green building. One observer has described it as ‘revolution dressed up as gardening’, so watch this space……
