Lucas Hickman Smith have secured planning permission for a new house just off Newmarket Road in Norwich, in the Newmarket Road Conservation Area.
The contemporary design features a full basement level, generous glazing onto the garden and seamed copper cladding at first floor. The design was developed to avoid the Root Protection Areas of adjacent mature trees and allow maximum sunlight penetration, whilst maximising the size of the house on its compact site.
Detailed design work is now under way with a start on site anticipated for spring 2013.
