An extension to an earlier residential conversion of a Listed barn. The new form is distinct from that of the linear barn, a modern pavilion which defines a revised entrance route and gives privacy to one end of the private garden. The pyramidal slate roof provides a generous top-lit and ventilated volume, taking its architectural cue from an adjacent Malthouse.
