Our client Abel Homes have scooped an ‘industry-Oscar’ What House? Magazine national award in the ‘Best Small Housebuilder’ category. Our Hus22 project featured heavily in their submission, naturally, but the award also recognised Abel’s customer service, and commitment to environmental issues. Maggie Abel collected the award at a ceremony in London last week.
‘The judges were impressed with our commitment to creating new communities, rather than simply building houses’, says Maggie. ‘Because we live and work in the communities in which we build, we recognise that alongside the imperative to provide new homes comes a responsibility to help those communities become sustainable and vibrant. We are very proud to have brought back such a prestigious national award to Norfolk.’
